Incomplete requests
Track missing fields and ask for the next required detail without treating an incomplete request as ready for a quote.
Moving-request workflow · In progress
Amana is an in-progress prototype for collecting moving requests through WhatsApp and preparing a clear handoff for a person to review. It is not yet a live service.
Check the required details, ask only for what is missing, then queue a summary for a person.
A moving request is matched against the fields a reviewer needs.
A missing required field leads to one focused follow-up question.
A person checks the summary and prepares any quote.
A person approves every summary.
Synthetic workflow illustration of an in-progress prototype. No customer screenshots, contacts, addresses, messages or quote amounts are shown, and it is not a capture of a live WhatsApp integration.
01 / The brief
The prototype organizes a moving request into the fields a person needs before reviewing it. When a required field is missing, the workflow asks one focused follow-up question; a complete request goes to a queue where a person reviews the summary and prepares any quote.
A local WhatsApp Cloud API adapter handles webhook signature validation and duplicate events, with outbound messages mocked. Its 31 local tests check that adapter behaviour; they do not show live message delivery, a deployed integration, a production AI service or customer outcomes.
02 / My contribution
I am developing the intake workflow and a local WhatsApp Cloud API adapter: required-field handling, follow-up questions for missing details, webhook signature validation, duplicate-event handling and mocked outbound messages.
03 / The details
Track missing fields and ask for the next required detail without treating an incomplete request as ready for a quote.
Validate webhook signatures and ignore duplicate events in the local adapter, with outbound messages mocked during tests.
Keep the summary review, quote preparation and any customer commitment with a person. Live end-to-end validation is still a next step.
The foundation
The outcome
So far: a prototype with a local adapter covered by 31 tests, and a review queue where a person checks each summary and prepares any quote. Live WhatsApp end-to-end operation, production deployment and customer outcomes have not been verified.
